Pricing and Fees

This page explains buyer charges, supplier commercial terms, taxes and payment processing for bookings made through Party-Planner.
1. Buyer charges
Party-Planner shows the venue, food, activity and service price before confirmation. We do not charge a buyer convenience fee today. If one is ever introduced, it will be shown before checkout.
2. Supplier commission
Supplier commission is negotiated per supplier contract. It is settled between Party-Planner and the supplier and is not added to the buyer's bill unless a written quote says so.
3. Total price shown before confirmation
We aim to show the all inclusive per head and total price, including applicable taxes, before you confirm a booking. Final supplier availability and quote details may depend on the confirmed event date, head count and package. A rate we have not had quoted by a supplier is marked as an estimate and is held out of the amount payable until the supplier confirms it.
4. Payment structure
A 25% advance is collected to confirm a booking. The balance is due before the event, as stated on the booking confirmation. Razorpay is the payment processor.
5. Goods and Services Tax
Goods and Services Tax (GST) applies where required by law. The quote shows GST at 18% on the priced lines. Supplier services are invoiced by the supplier under the supplier's GST registration where applicable. Party-Planner invoices its own service fee separately where such fee is charged.
6. Tax Collected at Source disclosure
As an Electronic Commerce Operator (ECO) under Section 52 of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017, Party-Planner collects 1% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on the net value of taxable supplies made through the platform and deposits it with the government. It reflects in the supplier's GST statement for credit where applicable.
7. Payment processor fees
Razorpay may charge payment processing fees to Party-Planner. If any payment processor fee is passed to the buyer, it will be shown before checkout.
8. No hidden charges
We do not add hidden charges after the buyer confirms. Any venue charge, food charge, activity charge, service fee, tax or payment fee must be disclosed before payment.
9. Invoices
You receive one consolidated bill for the whole booking. The tax invoices behind it are separate: each supplier invoices its own services under its own Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN), and Party-Planner invoices its service fee where such fee is charged, because Party-Planner is a marketplace facilitator. So one booking can produce more than one tax invoice.
10. Cancellation charges
Cancellation terms are not settled yet. They differ by venue and there is no standard term to quote, so ask us for your venue's terms before you pay. The Cancellation and Refund Policy states what does hold in every case.
